Panchajanya

Panchajanya is a conch of Lord Vishnu. According to Hindu mythology, there is a story behind Panchajanya. Once, there is a sea demon named Shankasura who is kidnapped son of Sandipani Muni, Guru of Sri Krishna, Balarama and Sudama. After they finished their studies, Sudama encouraged their Guru to ask for his Dakshina. But Sandipani Muni asked them to give him back his son from that demon as his Dakshina. Krishna killed Narakasura and freed the son of his guru and he named Panchajanya after that. Panchajanya is used by Lord Krisha during the Kurukshetra war period. It has some importance in Vastu Shastra as giving liberation from all kinds of Vastu doshas.
