Things to do in Akshaya Tritiya
According to Hindus, Akshaya Tritiya is considered as an annual springtime festival. It is a one-day celebration held on the third tithi of Shukla paksha of Vaisakha month. During the day of Akshaya Tritiya, devotees may perform Madhusudhana rituals with Tulasi Archana and also chanting Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam. A lot of Hindu people believe Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day to buy gold or any new investments. As stated in Hindu mythology, On this day believed the incarnation of Lord Vishnu to human form on earth. On this day, people are saying gratitude to Gods for the given prosperity and fortune. The important thing that people want to do on this day is the new investment in something. Buying some gold, buying a car that all considered auspicious. Moreover, Donating to someone is an important part of a ritual that devotees can do on this Akshaya Tritiya. On that day, people are performing Tritiya Puja. Akshaya Tritiya Puja is also called Akha Teej. Mainly devotees are worshipping Lord Vishnu while conducting puja. Some women practise fasting for getting happiness and prosperity among themselves and their family. In the early morning, devotees worship Lord Vishnu and goddess Lakshmi by offering white lotus flowers or white roses, incense and sandalwood etc. Offering food to Brahmins considered as auspicious. While devotees offer food to them and they will bless them forever. After that donates fruits, flowers, rice, salt etc. Buying gold brings good luck and happiness. Beginning of a new venture such as to start a business, website or something like this leads the devotee to flourish in future. People can buy new vehicles and it leads to longevity. For the long life of a husband, the wife is donating Kumkum on this day. Yet, as part of a ritual f Hindu custom, donating Thamboolam, Coconut, Buttermilk, Udakumbha or Vessel made up of bronze or silver, Slippers, Bed, Clothes etc..On that day, devotees are chanting the mantra "Hare Krishna" 108 times
