Solar Eclipses

Solar Eclipse appears when the new moon comes in the middle of earth and sun. Then the sun rays are blocking and the part of earth is submerging in a shadow. Based on the scientific theory, never look the sun without any protection at the time of solar eclipse. Because the UV radiation coming from sun will burn the retinas in the eyes and it may cause long lasting problems to eyes or even blindness may happen. There are four types of solar eclipses. They are partial solar eclipses, annular solar eclipses, total solar eclipses and hybrid solar eclipses. Total solar eclipses appears when the central portion of the sun is completely blocked out by the shadow of the moon. A small portion of sun's surface is blocked out by the moon is partial solar eclipses. The third annular solar eclipses occurs that a silver coloured small ring shaped light is seen from the round of sun and the last and fourth is hybrid solar eclipse that it occurs when the same eclipse changes from an annular to total solar eclipse. So a hybrid solar eclipse is otherwise known as Annular total eclipse. The next solar eclipse is an annular or ring of fire will appears on Dec 26, 2019. Every year, moon will travel in front of the sun, then the moon will block the sun's light towards earth. It causes the moon's shadow fall into the earth. During that time sky on earth will blacken and that is known as Umbra.  Solar eclipses can travel from one place to another because earth is rotating continuously around it's axis while it orbits the sun and the moon orbits earth. At the time of solar eclipse, no one can see the outer layer of sun's atmosphere named corona, because photo sphere is brighter than corona. Solar eclipses lasts in 7 minutes 31 seconds.
