Importance of Ek Mukhi Rudraksha
Ek Mukhi Rudraksha is known as the King of Rudraksha beads. It represents the connection between earth and heaven. Ek mukhi rudraksha is available in the structure of a half moon cashew, but that's not a rudraksha, that's the variety of Bhadraksha. Originally Ek mukhi rudraksha is oval in shape. It controls Sahasrara Chakra. One who wear ek mukhi rudraksha can achieve Moksha after death. At the time when we wear ek mukhi rudraksha, devotees must chant Panchakshari mantra 108 times. As a divine bead, it represents the merging of Aatma and Paramatma. It helps to reduce the malefic effects of sun, because sun is considered as the ruling planet of ek mukhi rudraksha. According to Padmapurana, chanting mantra "Om Om Drisham Namh", in Skandapurana, chanting mantra"Om Em Namah". In Shivapurana, chanting mantra "Om Hreem Namah" and in Yogsara, chanting mantra Om OM Brasham Namah.
