How to treat, tune and energise rudraksha

As a spiritual bead, anyone can wore Rudraksha without regard for caste, creed, sex, age, culture etc. But before wearing this bead, there are some strict rules to obey and people who wish to wore Rudraksha must take these rules with faith. Rudraksha has the power to purify the whole body and soul. One should have to worship Lord Shiva  before wear it. People must treat Rudraksha in a sacred manner. So people should not be wear during the time of funeral. Rudraaksha has a positive energy, so females do not wear it at the time of menstrual cycle. In order to energize rudraksha, one must spray ganga water on the beads before worshipping. After that apply some sandalwood paste on them.Use ashtagandha to soak up the beads and chant the mantra to Lord Shiva Om Namah Shivaya in 108 times. Regular washing will maintain their purity. One who wear rudraksha have some do's and don'ts. Don't eat non veg foods after wearing this beads. Don't touch it with any other metal, don't drink alcohol and don't use chemical soap to clean it. Mainly people must need faith in Rudraksha before wearing it. One who wear rudraksha daily will get the positive energy. To clean the rudraksha, first the beads wash by using Panchamrit or Panchagavya. Then dipped it in ghee and again wash it and clean by using a neat cloth. Again wash it with cow’s milk and clean it. Use brush to remove the dust and wash the bead again by using clean water and dried it for sufficient time. Don't interchange rudraksha to close ones and don't lend to anyone. Because while lending it to anyone can immediately lose energy of the beads and need to be energised again. It must keep in hygenic place. Navaratri, Shivarathri and Mahashivaratri are the auspicious days to wear rudraksha. The benefits and positive effects of rudraksha will depends on the faith and prayer that show on rudraksha bead. Devotees can energise rudraksha in a temple or with the help of priest.
