About this retreat
Tushita Meditation Centre is located in the forested hills above McLeod Ganj and provides Buddhist study and meditation in the Tibetan Mahayana tradition. Its regular Introduction to Buddhism course is residential, usually ten days, and combines philosophy classes, guided meditation, discussion, and a silent retreat environment. Residential participation includes accommodation and meals under the center's donation policy and requires registration and a deposit. Tushita is a semi-monastic center rather than a general guesthouse, so only confirmed residential course participants may stay on site.Teachers and tradition
Teachers are named for each course on the official calendar and include monastic and lay instructors. Verify the faculty listed for the selected dates.
