Yoga Sutra is the collection of 196 sutras dealing with the intentions and practices of Yoga.   Patanjali is known as the Father of Modern Yoga and Author of Yoga Sutra.   These 196 sutras are divided into four chapters with eight steps of Yoga.   Samadhi Pada,  Sadhana Pada,  Vibhuti Pada and Kaivalya Pada are the four chapters and the eight steps or Ashtanga are Yamas,  Niyama,  Asana,  Pranayama,  Pratyahara,  Dharana,  Dhyana and Samadhi.   Yama is dealing with the outline of behaviour toward others.   They are giving guidance about how to behave.   Yama has five subcategories.   They are Ahimsa or Non-violence,  Satya,  Asteya,  Brahmacharya and Aparigraha.   Niyama is discussing observances.   The subcategories of Niyama are Saucha or purification,  Santosha or contentment,  Tapas or asceticism,  Svadhyaya or study and Ishvara Pranidhana or dedication to God.   Asana or posture defines yoga postural practices.   Pranayama is discussing the regulation in the breath control of practitioners.   Pratyahara dealing with the consciousness separating from other distractions of sound,  smell and so on.   Dharma deals with concentration of practitioners.  The attention should be the focus on a point in their mind.   And the last one is Samadhi.   It has various subcategories.   They are Sivakalpa Samadhi,  Nirvikalpa Samadhi,  Sahaja Samadhi,  Dharma Megha Samadhi.   Vedic Matters are emphasising in this topic is that people will overcome from stressful life and lazy mind to peaceful life and joyful life through Yoga.   Practitioners of Yoga can make the right choice from the doubted thoughts because it is a way of purification,  refinement and submission.
