What is Veda Ganita?

Veda Ganitha or Vedic Mathematics is a system of mathematics discovered by Indian Mathematician Jagadguru Shri Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji to solve mathematical calculations easily.   These calculations are based on 16 sutras and 13 sub sutras.   They are Ekadhikina Purvena,  Nikhilam Navatashcarmam,  Dashatah,  Urdhva-Tiryagbyham,  Paraavartya Yojayet,  Shunyam Saamyasamuccaye,  (Anurupye) Shunyamanyat,  Sankalana-Vyakalanabhyam,  Puranapuranabhyam,  Chalana-Kalanabyham,  Yaavadunam,  Vyashtisamanstih,  Shesanyankena Charamena, Sopaantyadvayamantyam,  Ekanyunena Purvena,  Gunithasamuchyah,  Gunakasamuchyah.   List of mental calculations is based on Vedas.   Because sutras are consisting in Atharva Veda.   The greatest human calculator Maharshi Mahesh Yogi reintroduced the lost Vedic mathematics sutras early.

There are so many features enlisting about Veda Ganita.   They are coherence,  flexibility,  memory improvement,  promotes creativity,  increases mental ability,  and methods apply in algebra and so on.   The striking feature of the Vedic system is coherence.   Some general methods were included in the Vedic system and that innovative method made people more creative.   Veda Ganita has the ability to converts a boring subject into a simple one.   Mental calculation techniques applied in Veda Ganita increases student's creativity.   Some arithmetical applications like the theory of numbers,  simple quadratic equations,  compound multiplications,  factorisation,  square root,  cubing are established by Veda Ganita.   13 sub sutras are also included in Veda Ganita. They are Anurupyena,  Sisyate Sesamjnah,   Adyamadyenantya Mantyena,  Kevalaih Saptakam Gunyat,  Vestanam,  Yavaddunam Tavadunam,  Yavadunam Tavadunkrtya Varganca Yojayet,  Antyayordasakepi,  Antyayoreva,  Samuccaya Gunitha,  Lopanasthapanabhyam,   Vilokanam,  Gunitasmuccayah Samuccayagunitah.   Tirthaji disclosed Veda Ganita as equivalent algorithms to modern mathematics.
